Requesting Written Material

Q: How do I request a Verification of Mortgage (VOM)?

You can request a Verification of Mortgage (VOM) on the customer website, third party portal, mail, or by phone.

Customer Website: The easiest and fastest way to request a Verification of Mortgage is through our customer website. Under the “Loan Information” section you will find the Verification of Mortgage option that will take you to our Verification of Mortgage form. Simply fill in the information on the form, and we will send you your Verification of Mortgage.

Third-Party Requests: Submit your request electronically via our third-party portal, which can be found at the bottom of the customer website mwf.servicingdivision.com.


Mail: If you’d like to request by mail, please send us a letter stating that you’d like a Verification of Mortgage. Please be sure to include your loan number, the address of the property, and your up-to-date contact information. Send your written request, signed by the borrower(s) to:

The VOM request will be emailed or mailed within approximately 48 business hours of receipt of your request.

Q: How do I request a payoff statement?

Send a written request, signed by all borrower(s), via US mail, Email, or fax: Mail: Mountain West Financial, Inc. 500 S Broad St, Suite 100A Meriden, CT 06450 Email: [email protected] Fax: (888) 214-4255 A payoff statement is generally mailed within approximately two business days or faxed by the next business day. There may be a fax fee associated with the payoff request if the payoff is to be faxed.

Third Party payoffs: please visit ThirdPartyPayoff and select one of the two options:

Electronic Authorization option: The customer will receive an automated email via the email on file to approve/authorize the quote. Upon approval, you will receive the payoff quote within minutes.

Upload Written Authorization option: This allows you to upload an signed borrower’s authorization and submit your request online.
